Hello Friends and Family!
I have succumbed to the pressure and have decided to jump on the band wagon and start a blog. However, I can't make any guarantee's that I will faithfully update it and/or be grammatically correct (as my grammar is nothing to brag about). I figured since I am soon to embark on another chapter of my exciting life, why not keep up a blog (or attempt to) to allow my friends and family that are all over the globe to keep tabs on me ;)
Many of you know that I have been waiting anxiously for my EAD (Enter Active Duty for you non-military folk, meaning that I will actually get to start my career as an Air Force Officer!) date.... forrrr 1 December 2011!
Now, this is the Air Force, and it is subject to change, but this is the "official" date that I have to work with! Unfortunately, I do not have my orders (official paper work that says I exist) so I can't do much in terms of squaring away housing and getting my CAC card (not exactly sure what it stands for, but it allows me access to important technological devices and information i.e. everything about me).
I am hoping to be able to head down to Georgia again sometime next month (or as soon as I get my orders) so I can get housing taken care of! I have an apartment being held for me, but I can't sign a lease until I go through Moody's housing office. In other words, a lot of paperwork!
I am very excited to get started and get settled. God's timing is perfect, and it has been so neat seeing how He is working and molding things together! Can't wait to see what happens next :)
